Stamford is part of Addnode Group, and we work closely with the group’s other companies. We have around 100 people across our offices in Stockholm, Karlstad, Gothenburg, and Malmö, with additional team members at Addnode India in Pune.

Stamford is a member of SOFF, the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association — a trade association for companies working within civil security, cyber technology, and defense.
RISE
Together with the University of Gothenburg, Chalmers, and a number of shipping companies and ports, we participate in an innovation project for the digitalization of Swedish ports, led by RISE.
Karlstad University
We collaborate regularly with the School of Business and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The partnership includes mentoring, study visits, and guest lectures.
SNITS
SNITS (Business and IT Students Collaboration) is a collaboration group for IT programs at Karlstad University, which we have been part of since its founding. Through SNITS, students get the opportunity to build strong connections with the business community while still studying.
COMPARE
We are also members of the Compare foundation, which brings together companies, organizations, and individuals with the goal of developing the Karlstad region into an attractive digital hub with national and international standing.

2024
Stamford acquires Addoceo, adding a new business area within the public sector and reinforcing its position in retail.

Evitbe joins Stamford.
2021
Addnode acquires Elpool in Umeå to strengthen its offering of digital solutions in the urban development sector.
Stamford, Stamford Stockholm, and Inport merge into one organization.
2018
Addnode acquires Karlstad-based software company Inport, which specializes in systems for ports, terminals, and shipping companies. Inport joins Stamford’s shared organization and management.
2016
Addnode acquires systems provider Stamford, which develops solutions for retail, specialty retail, and property companies. Stamford and Prosilia form a joint organization under shared management, and Prosilia is renamed Stamford Stockholm.

Addnode Group acquires Prosilia.

IT consultancy Prosilia is founded, with specialized expertise in systems for logistics, maintenance, and insurance.
