Work with us
Here, you work hands-on with clients on systems that genuinely matter — across ports, defense, infrastructure, and beyond. We’re a place where decisions get made quickly and your voice actually has an impact.
We want you as an employee to grow and develop in your work, which means you’ll have the chance to take on real ownership and advance in your professional role. We believe in diversity and always aim for a good mix in our teams when it comes to different personalities, backgrounds, ages, and genders.
“Work-life balance” might sound like a cliché, but for us it genuinely matters that both you and your family are doing well — and that means life needs the right balance of work and time off. Stimulating work, continuous professional development, the option to work hybrid or remotely, the chance to learn about different industries, and — last but not least — a great sense of community with both colleagues and clients. That’s Stamford.

"Working at Stamford means being part of an open and inclusive culture where there is truly room for everyone. Here, different perspectives and ideas are valued, and we encourage each other to contribute and grow. Together in our teams, we collaborate closely with both each other and our clients to jointly find the best, most sustainable solutions. That creates both a strong sense of community and deliverables we can be proud of."

"I have worked at Stamford for many years and still enjoy it just as much. As product owner for Guru, I work with all parts of the system and have close contact with customers — which makes for a very varied role. What really drives me is seeing how the right tools can make a real difference in people's working lives. I also appreciate the opportunity to grow and switch areas of focus, while still getting to keep your wonderful colleagues."

"When a client has requests, you're involved in bouncing ideas around — you don't just say 'yes, let's do it' and start writing code. We can contribute input and build up the solution to make it as good as possible. I like having free rein, and it's part of our role to have influence and bring ideas to the table."

"In my role, I get to combine two of my favorite areas: language and technology. I work on improving the user experience in the dialogue between human and machine, which feels both fun and meaningful. I've worked at Voice Provider, which became part of Stamford in January 2026, for over 5 years, and I keep growing all the time thanks to great support, knowledgeable colleagues, and exciting technology.."

"We develop modern systems for the ports and terminals of the Nordic region. It is work that feels both meaningful and forward-looking — we are part of shaping what the logistics of the future will look like. Together with dedicated colleagues, we create smarter, safer and more sustainable flows, and I am proud to be part of it."
At Stamford, we believe good ideas are born in collaboration, which is why we work with several industry organizations and universities. Among others, we collaborate with two departments at Karlstad University: the School of Business (informatics and CTF, the Service Research Center) and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The partnership includes mentoring students, hosting study visits, and giving guest lectures. We are also members of the Compare foundation and SNITS (Business and IT Students Collaboration), a collaboration group for IT programs at Karlstad University. Through SNITS, students get the opportunity to build strong relationships with us and other companies while they’re still studying.
